Compass Establishes a Change Control Board (CCB) For Each Client Engagement….Change Management at Its Best

The Compass Solutions change management methodology is derived from the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL). The goal of our methodology is to minimize the impact of change-related issues on the quality of service, thereby improving the operations of the client's systems. At the on-set of each client engagement we establish a Change Control Board (CCB) of key project stakeholders to ensure the proper management of change throughout the project.

Our methodology achieves the following objectives for change control:

  • Standardization of the introduction of change in the supported systems environment
  • Documentation of procedures associated with the running, supporting and maintaining systems
  • Minimization of service disruptions due to poorly planned deployments
  • Reduction of back-out activities in the event of a failed change to the software or hardware components of a solution
